Chain Links
A chain is made up of inner and outer links. Each inner link consists of two plates, two bushes pressed into the plates, and two rollers that rotate on the bushes. However, bush chains have no rollers; instead, the bushes make direct contact with the sprocket teeth. An outer link is composed of two plates and two bearing pins. The chain is formed by connecting the inner links with the outer links.
