Double Pitch Roller Chains

Double-pitch hollow pin roller chains are often only available with straight plates as a bush or roller chain. One primary benefit is that the longer pitch allows the installation of transport rollers, considerably reducing friction and tensile forces within the chain in many applications.

Product Description

Double-pitch chains are based on single-pitch chains produced in accordance with ISO 606; aside from the pitch, they meet the same standard dimensions. In contrast to short-pitch chains built to ISO 606, these chains are designed for usage in settings where speed and power transfer are less important. The main difference is that the plates of double-pitch roller chains are twice as long as those of ordinary roller chains, as the name implies.
