Operation

The lubricator includes a spring return piston pump. When the tee-handle is fully raised, a predetermined volume of oil fills the cylinder, and the pump spring is compressed. Releasing the handle forces oil into the distribution system. The lubricator will deliver 5cc per stroke of the piston. The lubricator should be operated at intervals recommended by the machine manufacturer.

It is recommended that the lubricator be operated at intervals recommended by the machine manufacturer to ensure optimal performance and lubrication. This will help reduce machinery’s wear and tear and prolong its lifespan.

To start up the lubricator, the reservoir should be filled with lubricant. The lubricator should then be operated until oil flows freely at all bearings. This ensures that all components are properly lubricated before the machine is operated.

Startup Instructions

• Fill the reservoir.
• Operate the lubricator until oil flows freely at all bearings.

Maintenance – Filter Replacement

A filter at the pump inlet protects the lubricating system and should be inspected every six months. If it is not clean, replace it. To remove the filter, pry out the snap ring with a screwdriver and remove the filter disc and screens. To re-install, insert the following in the following order: filter disc support (coarse screen), filter disc screen (fine screen), filter disc, filter clamp ring, and filter snap ring.
